tiamat asked: I've tried to come out, but my mother is in denial and won't acknowledge it, at first i was very subtle, little hints, but one day practically screamed it while she was talking with my best friend... okay, i may have shouted it a couple of times, but she still didn't hear me. I'm kinda sad, but oh well,... it could've been awful.
realniqqatalk asked: To that Anon: Don't make it a big thing. Do it casually, as an offhand thing. That's what I did. I got kicked out of my house for a big, but my mum came around. There's no easy way to do it but, from what I've heard, making it a big deal ends badly.
reeehhh asked: To that anon: I wrote a letter. It was the hardest thing I've ever done but there was no way i would have been able to say the words out loud as my Mum was very closed off to it. Writing a letter helped me prepare mentally for what was going to happen and also make sure everything that needed to be said, was. Things turned out way better than i had thought in the end.
